Honestly it could have used a lot more filling but there was something very addicting about the whole appetizer. Once seated, we were delighted with wonderful food. We ordered the shrimp étouffée which was very bland to say the least. We weren't able to make reservation for two ppl, so had to wait in line for 30mins. I own a retail store and I had to suspect that even if you didn't have change in the register you had it somewhere on the premises. Thank heavens you can grab a drink at their bar whilst waiting around.
And their bleu cheese dressing is divine. So we ordered and then we heard the server helping the table over and we heard the specials and were bummed out. Worth getting away from the French Quarter and trying new food. Kind of disappointed in the crawfish ettouffee, which is one of my favorite dishes. Prices and selections offered may vary by location. I only have Imo's once or twice a year, so I don't want to squander it on a sub-par experience like yesterday.
They will do reservations, but expect to wait. Hearty portions and so good. Whoever was the first complete table to arrive would be seated as the other had about a 45 minute wait. It' refreshing that they're generous with the dipping cup size for the appetizers. Just a bad place to eat good pizza! Going to dine at Imo's Pizza? No complaints around the table; we ate all over the menu and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Walk up to the counter to ask where my pizza is, the cook and the lady working the counter start arguing over who lost the pizza after 5 minutes and them guessing who's is who's you get your pizza. From the minute I greeted the teenage girl behind the counter , and received no reply I knew this was a less than Imos, Imos.
On our last visit our server was Kevin D and it was a sad experience. The noise level never came down to anything that allowed normal conversation. While some stores have branched out into a small amount of seating, such as breakfast bars and tables and chairs, the majority remain as originally intended. Then I don't have to give 2% of my money to credit card processing. Only a glimpse of possible vegetables.
