Following another cat-and-mouse chase, Mario gets back all but 6 of the captured Mini-Marios, which Donkey Kong holds captive and guards with a large robot mech. Where x is the bob-omb. A shyguy you've picked up won't turn back into a ghost, but the others are still dangerous. They come in three colors, which can be either blue, red or yellow. Climb down the ladder and quickly exit before the boo spooks you.
Use them to climb across to the key, then hit the blue switch and use the spring on the right to get to the door. Run left first and get yourself onto a moving platform. Go left and use the falling spikes to jump across the more deadly spikes and get the blue present. Mario fights Donkey Kong one last time, destroying Donkey Kong's mech and finally getting back the rest of the toys. Once you're past all the danger, the presents and door are easily acquired. The first game world is called the Mario Toy Company in which you can find mini shy guys, trash cans and other interesting items.
Pick up a bob-omb and wait till it's flashing rapidly, then throw it against the breakable block. The level editor still exists within the game's programming, and can be enabled through a modification. Make sure the vertically moving platforms are going upwards before you continue. Get to the key, then fall onto that bob-omb and get the present, then take a harrowing journey across spikes while riding a walking ball of high explosives to the door. The collision can be avoided though if you use switches. Donkey Kong will constantly pull the chain, dropping junk from the ceiling. Stomp it and go up to the platform with the key.
Climb up the ropes and make your way to the blue present. Go left and wait for the Minis to be on solid ground, then hit the red switch. Part 2 Wait for the bob-omb to detonate itself and clear a path for you. Hit the switcher below and use the middle conveyor to take the key and yourself over to the door. Then hit the blue switch and go back up top, then fall in the left square and hit the yellow one while getting the 1-up. Ride the first falling stone to the red present, then use it to get the key. This only applies to the six main bosses, and not the Plus bosses.
Handspring - Press A while doing a handstand. I'll be writing about them, naturally. Toss it in the corner for use as a step, then walk to the door. He tosses crabs at you that will often block your fruit bombs. Go right and climb the ladder, dodging the blue shyguy and the birds with their flaming. First you'll want to get yourself pushed to the blue switch, which should be pressed.

Quickly hit the red switch, then the conveyor switcher so the key lands on the red blocks, then backflip up there with the trash can as a step. First go all the way right for the blue present, then go left and hit the yellow switch. Hand over hand - Simply press left or right while on a wire.
Spring up to the next ledge and grab the tightwire. Trash can Trash cans are items that Marion can carry and throw when engaging an opponent. This is Mario, and having to compensate for a control issue just isn't his style. Spring up to the bottom conveyor, then backflip up until you reach the ropes. Try it first, and if you like the idea of giving your mind a workout, buy it. The original is one of my favourite games of all time, and I consider the 2nd a worthy spiritual remake.
Backflips are the key here. Part 2 Do a handwalk across the junk monster's territory, then backflip yourself up a few levels. Stomp the yellow switch, making sure at least one of the Minis is outside the yellow blocks. Go back down the ladder and grab a bob-omb to blow up a path. Finally, grab ahold of that poor monkey's tail one more time and use him and the other one to get across the spiked pit.
When Mario completes enough presents, he can actually enter a mini-game where he can earn extra lives. Part 2 Ride the falling stone up while avoiding the birds and their flaming. This is where I get the feeling there's a slightly easier way. Once past the cannons, just take the Mini over to the door. This level, however, is not too tough. That'd be a good thing. Run across the collapsing bridge and let the Mini fall with it, then grab the blue present.
